 PPGI & PPGL (prepainted galvanized steel & prepainted galvalume steel) also known as pre-coated steel or color coated steel coil, It is a product made of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, hot-dip galvalume steel sheet, electro galvanized steel sheet, etc.

After surface pretreatment, one or several layers of organic coating are applied on the surface, and then baked and solidified. The color coated steel coil is light in weight, beautiful in appearance, and has good anti-corrosion performance, and can be directly processed.

Color steel sheet are available in wide range of colors, sizes, and mechanical characteristics.Color steel sheet with a PVC coating can be embossed, giving the finish a fine texture. Besides, color steel sheet are also available with PVC or PVF films with grain or leathery finish.

Outstanding Formability

The substrate of color steel sheet is heat treated in a continuous annealing furnace. It' s available in drawing, extra deep drawing, and lock forming grades. The tightly controlled hot dip process minimizes the formation of the brittle zinc-iron alloy layer, thus ensuring a firmly adhering zinc layer which doesn' t peel during forming. The color coatings are durable and flexible, thus they don' t peel during forming.
